Senior Account Manager

Remote (United States)

Stonecutter is a dynamic and innovative e-commerce agency specializing in helping brands succeed on Amazon. We provide comprehensive solutions tailored to each brand's unique needs, maximizing their presence and profitability on the world's largest online marketplace.

As a Senior Account Manager at Stonecutter, you will be responsible for owning the strategy, performance, and client relationship across multiple Amazon Seller Central accounts. This role requires a strong operator with deep Amazon expertise, including hands-on command of Amazon Advertising (PPC), who can think strategically, lead client conversations with confidence and authority, while guiding internal teams toward effective execution.

You will be expected to proactively identify opportunities, solve complex challenges, and translate performance insights into clear direction across marketing, content, merchandising, and operations. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, accountability, and a steady, solutions-oriented approach while acting as a true partner to the brands they manage. Because advertising drives a large share of performance on Amazon, you are expected to own PPC strategy and to speak to campaign structure, spend, targeting, and results directly and confidently on live client calls, rather than deferring ads questions to a specialist.

  • Evaluate content, creative, and SEO to identify meaningful opportunities for improvement
  • Guide updates to imagery, copy, A+ content, and storefront strategy
  • Ensure content direction aligns with broader brand and revenue goals

  • Own performance analysis across sales, advertising, traffic, and conversion
  • Translate data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations
  • Deliver reporting that highlights priorities, opportunities, and next steps
  • Use data to proactively drive decision-making and performance improvements
  • Analyze advertising performance in depth, including ACoS, TACoS, ROAS, CTR, CVR, impression share, and the interplay between paid and organic sales
  • Interpret Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display data, including search term and placement reports, to guide bid, budget, and targeting decisions

Compliance & Account Health

  • Oversee account health and stay ahead of compliance signals and policy-related risks
  • Identify potential issues early and ensure they are addressed before they affect account stability
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Amazon policy changes and marketplace developments
  • Advise clients on how platform and policy changes may affect their business

Brand Growth & Strategy

  • Identify opportunities across pricing, promotions, assortment, and category positioning
  • Plan and recommend deals and promotional strategies to drive growth and efficiency
  • Evaluate competitive landscape and marketplace shifts to inform strategy
  • Ensure Amazon initiatives align with broader business and marketing goals
  • Direct keyword research, harvesting, and negative targeting to improve efficiency, reduce wasted spend, and protect margin

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Act as the central point of coordination across Advertising, Creative, and Operations teams
  • Provide clear direction on priorities, timelines, and execution expectations
  • Ensure alignment across teams to deliver on strategy effectively
  • Maintain accountability and momentum across all initiatives
  • Set advertising direction for the ad team and review campaign performance to ensure PPC execution ladders up to account strategy and client goals

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing Amazon accounts with ownership of strategy and client relationships
  • Strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central and key performance drivers including Ads, SEO, content, pricing, and promotions

  • Hands-on experience with the Amazon Ads console, search term and placement reports, and bulk operations; familiarity with rule-based or third-party bid-management tools is a plus
  • Proven ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into strategic recommendations
  • Strong client-facing communication skills with experience leading high-level conversations
  • Experience working cross-functionally and guiding execution across internal teams
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple brands and priorities
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and problem-solving ability
  • Familiarity with Brand Registry, Amazon advertising platforms, and third-party tools
  • Agency experience or multi-brand management is strongly preferred
